Website privacy notice
Unmasqd is operated by Advanced Vigilance Models Ltd. This notice explains how we handle information about visitors to this website and people who contact us.
1. Who is responsible
Advanced Vigilance Models Ltd, registered in Gibraltar under company number 126512, is the controller of the personal information we process for the purposes described here. For privacy questions or requests, contact sales@unmasqd.com.
This notice covers the Unmasqd marketing website and business enquiries. It does not describe the collection of signals by independent source providers or all processing within our threat-intelligence services. Visiting this website does not give us access to the messages on your phone.
2. Information we process
When you visit the website
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. Depending on the services enabled, this can include your IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, request times, and security events. Some of this information may be available to us in service logs or security reports.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any name, organisation, contact details, or attachments you choose to include. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary information about other people.
The briefing links open your own email application. They do not submit a form or send a message automatically.
3. Why we use it
- To operate and secure the website: our legitimate interests in providing a reliable site, identifying technical problems, and preventing abuse.
- To respond to business enquiries: our legitimate interests in communicating with prospective customers and understanding their requirements. Where applicable, we also process information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.
- To meet legal obligations: where we are required to keep records, respond to lawful requests, or otherwise comply with applicable law.
We do not use this website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Cookies and analytics
The website code does not set cookies, use browser storage to track you, or load advertising or analytics scripts. Fonts and page assets are served with the site.
Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies if features such as bot protection or security challenges are enabled. You can read about these in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this notice and provide any required choices before using them.
5. Who receives information
Information may be handled by authorised people at Advanced Vigilance Models Ltd and service providers supporting our website, security, and business email. Cloudflare provides website delivery and security services; Google Workspace processes business email enquiries sent to our contact address.
We may also disclose information where necessary to comply with law, obtain professional advice, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not sell website visitor or enquiry information.
Cloudflare describes its own processing roles and practices in its privacy policy.
6. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Cloudflare operates a global network. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, those safeguards must be in place, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual protections. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
7. How long information is kept
We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry, maintain a relevant business relationship, and meet applicable legal or record-keeping obligations. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the enquiry, whether it leads to a customer relationship, and whether records are needed for a dispute.
Technical information is retained according to the hosting or security service and its configured retention settings. We review information we hold and remove it when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may request access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
Send requests to sales@unmasqd.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before responding.
You can raise a concern with us or complain to the relevant data protection authority. In Gibraltar, this is the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority. You may also have the right to complain to the authority where you live or work.
9. Updates
We will update this notice when the website or our handling of website and enquiry information changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
